Recommendation

We think this keychain multi-tool is a steal! For under $20, you get a multi-tool that has a lot of useful tools. It’s sturdy, tough and easily accessible. You don’t have to dig for tools in your vehicle or tool box, they’re right there on your keychain. The only thing we didn’t 100% like is the fact that the blade doesn’t lock. However, I’m not sure how that would affect the construction of this tool. That’s not necessarily a deal killer for a keychain multi-tool in our opinion. If you’re looking for the best keychain multi-tool you can find, add the Gerber Dime to your wish list.

Where to Buy the Gerber Dime Multi-Tool

Pros

Multiple tools – The Gerber Dime delivers tools you need without the fluff. You will use every single tool on this device during your daily activities. They didn’t stuff it with a bunch of tools you will never use. Nothing worse than lugging around gear that you never use. Won’t happen with the Gerber Dime and that’s what makes it one of the best keychain multi-tools on the market.

Durable – These are built to last. You will be able to get years of use from these multi-tools. People hike the Appalachian Trail with these on their keychains regularly. That’s how sturdy they are.

Low Cost – You won’t find a better keychain multi-tool for under $20 in our opinion. They’re so low cost, you can buy multiples and store in your vehicle, bag and keychain just in case.

Cons

No Locking Blade – Not necessarily a deal killer on a small multi-tool like this one. Most people carry a full size pocket knife with them anyway, so it’s not relevant.
