Yeti Products that are Worth Your Hard-Earned Dollars

Yeti roadie 48L hard cooler with wheels

Yeti has been around for a while, and for good reason – they make some of the best outdoor gear and are world famous thanks to their well-build line of products. There’s no doubt you’ve heard of Yeti’s superior ice-retention coolers, but the brand has a wide product line of incredibly durable and expertly designed products that are worth spending your money on.

Go to any lake, campsite or football game and you will see a large number of Yeti coolers, water bottles, bags and shirts carrying the Yeti brand name. Yeti may have garnered fame via their impressive hard coolers, but their other products are just as tough and useful.

We’ve tested a wide variety of Yeti products over the years as well as outdoor products made by other companies. Our findings through these tests in the field prove to us and our followers that anything Yeti touches comes out great. Yeti products are priced near the top because they’ve proven themselves time and time again. Our task is to help you decide which Yeti products are worth your money, so we took a few Yeti products that routinely outperform their counterparts to give you a list of Yeti products that we think you will enjoy. We’ve included coolers, chairs, shirts, water bottles and some Yeti products you’ve probably never seen.

Yeti Coolers

Yeti makes a wide offering of hard coolers, soft coolers, wheeled coolers and backpack coolers. We’ll start with the hard cooler that made Yeti world-famous overnight.

Yeti Tundra 45 Hard Cooler – Yeti.com

Yeti is one of the most visible outdoor brands and the Tundra hard cooler is their flagship product so to speak. Roll up to the beach or campsite and you know your beer will stay ice cold for days on end. It works as an outdoor refrigerator for many backyard gatherings and hot days at the pool. With the number of sizes and colors, there’s a Yeti Tundra for everyone. Seriously, go check out the colors! In fact, the Tundra comes in multiple sizes such as 35L, 45L, 65L and up. We think the Tundra 45L will cover most people’s needs. If you need a smaller size, check out the Yeti Roadie.

Yeti Tundra Haul wheeled cooler

Yeti Tundra Haul Hard Cooler with Wheels and Handle – Yeti.com

Wheels make the world go round and a Yeti hard cooler can get really heavy, especially when you’re carrying enough drinks for the whole group. Yeti hard coolers rely on thick walls and heavy materials to maintain superior ice retention, which translates to them being incredibly heavy when fully loaded. Fear not – the Yeti Tundra Haul is ready to roll with NeverFlat wheels that are puncture resistant and can handle anything the campsite or beach throws at it.

You get a lot for your money with the Yeti Tundra line of hard coolers. Rotomolded construction makes it basically an armored vehicle that can take years of punishment and the welded aluminum handle allows you to maneuver through rugged terrain that would destroy lesser coolers. The Yeti Tundra comes in a huge assortment of color varieties and size options.

Yeti roadie 48L hard cooler with wheels

Yeti Roadie Wheeled Personal Cooler – Yeti.com

While the Yeti hard coolers are built like tanks, they’re heavy and unwieldy for some occasions. Even the Tundra with wheels can be difficult to maneuver and could be overkill for small events or a lunch date on the patio. The Roadie is Yeti’s answer to those who want a more manageable hard cooler that still carries Yeti’s DNA.

The difference is in the design – the Roadie is built tall and narrow to make it easier to move than say, the Yeti Tundra. You don’t always need a huge hard cooler and many opt for the more personal-sized Yeti Roadie which comes in multiple sizes such as the popular 24L, the mid-sized 48L and the oversized 60L Roadie for bigger tasks. The great thing about the Roadie’s design, no matter what size you choose, is the fact that it can hold taller items such as chilled wine or odd-shaped food items such as an uncut watermelon.

Yeti Hopper M30 soft cooler

Yeti Hopper M30 Soft Cooler – Yeti.com

The saying, less is more, is fitting when it comes to the Yeti Hopper M30 soft cooler. You don’t always need a heavy-duty hard cooler and, in some situations, a soft cooler can outperform a hard cooler. Obviously, we don’t mean that the Yeti Hopper M30 can retain ice longer than Yeti’s hard coolers, but they can fit into tight spots where a large hard cooler would be overkill. The perfect example is a road trip. You need a way to keep your goods ice cold and in the back seat with you and a soft cooler will excel at this task. Pro Tip: Keep your hard cooler in the back of your tuck or trunk and the Yeti Hopper M30 up front with you so you make less stops on a road trip.

Yeti backpack cooler

Yeti Hopper Backflip 24 Backpack Cooler – Yeti.com

What better way to keep your food and goods ice cold than a backpack cooler? If hands-free operation catches your attention, the Yeti Hopper Backflip 24 will exceed every expectation you ever had. It’s the perfect in-between product between soft cooler and hard cooler and the fact that you can carry it on your back is icing on the cake. Your initial thought may be that a backpack cooler isn’t as tough or well-constructed as a regular cooler, but that’s far from the truth with the Yeti Hopper Backflip. The exterior is not only waterproof but also resistant to punctures, extreme UV rays and cuts. It can absolutely handle what your outdoor adventures throw at it. The interior features closed-cell rubber foam that locks in coldness and has incredible ice-retention capabilities. Even the zipper is super tough and waterproof and the MOLLE system allows even more customization. The backpack straps are comfortable, the interior retains ice well, the exterior is wildly hardy and you would be hard pressed to find a better backpack cooler.

Pet Accessories

camping with dogs

Yeti Boomer 8 Dog Bowl – Yeti.com

Camping with dogs requires a few extra steps to ensure your fur baby is having a great time also. Your dog deserves only the best and the Yeti dog bowl is incredibly tough thanks to the double-wall stainless steel design. You can serve your pup eight cups of water or treats to keep him or her healthy and happy on your camping trip. Even better, it’s dishwasher safe, rust resistant and puncture resistant so your dog can rough it up without hurting it.

Yeti Drinkware

From insulated bottles built for extreme adventure and tumblers that can take a beating to mugs, jugs and everything in between, Yeti has a drink holder that will blow your mind.

Yeti Rambler 30-Ounce Tumbler – Yeti.com

If you’re like me and like to drink a wide assortment of drinks at the campsite or beach that need to stay chilled in the hot sun, the Rambler was made for you. It’s big and keeps your iced coffee, water or beer ice cold all day long. Pick from the 10, 20 or 30-ounce and make this your daily driver. I personally like the Tahoe Blue Yeti Rambler.

Yeti Rambler Bottle

Yeti Rambler 26-Ounce Bottle – Yeti.com

While the tumblers may not be completely leakproof, the Yeti bottles and jugs keep your drink secured and are 100% leakproof. Kock them off the boat and enjoy your drink after retrieval. Rambler bottles are insulated to the max with a dual-wall vacuum that keeps coffee hot (if that’s your thing) and other drinks cold. I like the Alpine Yellow 26-ounce because I can always find it, but it comes in tons of other colors and sizes. In fact, you can get the Yeti Rambler Bottle in 18, 26, 36, 46 and even the monster 64 ounces in certain colors.

Yeti Rambler Jug 1 Gallon

Yeti Jug – Yeti.com

While it may look like insulation overkill, the Yeti Jug actually has a spot on your drinkware roster. First, they do an amazing job at keeping yourself or your crew hydrated in the blistering heat. In fact, the Yeti Jug lineup can keep your water or other beverages ice-cold long enough to get the job done. Second, the Jug is robust enough to take anywhere. Ball games, hiking trips, primitive camping, RVing, you name it and the Yeti Jug will excel and keep you hydrated. Fill the Jug with fresh, hot coffee and your crew will love you forever. The 1-gallon Yeti Jug is large enough to share. My personal favorite is the stainless-steel version because it reminds me of old-school jugs and I appreciate simplicity. There have even been claims of the Jug surviving fires while still retaining ice.

Yeti Rambler Can Insulator

Yeti Can Insulators – Yeti.com

While I was hesitant to use a can insulator at first, it has now earned its keep and replaced my collection of koozies. No matter if you prefer to drink soda, beer or water, the Rambler 12-ounce can insulator will keep it ice cold. For thin drinks such as iced coffee, tall energy drinks or beer in those thin cans; the Rambler 12-ounce Colster Slim Can Insulator should do the trick. Don’t worry, they even have something for craft beer drinkers – the Yeti Rambler 16-ounce will keep your larger drinks cold to the touch.

Yeti Rambler Travel Mug – Yeti.com

Did you think we would have a “Best Yeti Products” list without including this beast of a travel mug? Perfect for moms and dads who love their coffee or college students who need to hydrate after a night out, the Rambler Travel Mug gets it done. This is your go-to insulated mug when you’re going to be gone all day and need a reliable mug that will keep your drinks hot or cold all day. The handle makes it feel like a coffee mug and somehow that makes your coffee taste better. The Yeti Rambler Travel Mug features the Stronghold Lid and comes in 14, 20 or 30-ounce sizes.

Yeti Rambler wine tumbler

Yeti Rambler Wine Tumbler – Yeti.com

You didn’t even have to ask, we know you read this entire Yeti Buyer’s Guide just to see if they had a wine tumbler. It’s probably the best I’ve ever seen and fits in the palm of your hand. Perfect for sitting around the campfire or watching the waves, Yeti Wine Tumbler keeps your favorite wine ice cold and ready to sip. If you have hot hands like me, you’ve probably noticed it can really warm up your wine and ruin the experience. Plus, wine is just better outdoors. This wine tumbler is engineered to handle the great outdoors and is even dishwasher safe so you can easily keep it clean.

Yeti Rambler Lowball cup

Yeti Rambler 10-Ounce Lowball – Yeti.com

Not a big fan of wine? The Yeti Rambler Lowball can hold 10 ounces of your favorite bourbon or hot coffee. Personally, I’m a huge fan of sipping bourbon while watching the fire or riding around in the golf cart. The double-wall vacuum insulation on the Lowball will keep your drinks cold or hot depending on your taste. My biggest pet peeve with drinking bourbon outside is that I either shatter my glasses or bugs pay my drink a visit. The Yeti Lowball solves both of those issues and features a magnet slider that keeps your whisky, bourbon or even coffee safe from intruders.

Yeti Bags

You may not immediately associate Yeti with bags but that will change once you’ve seen what Yeti has to offer.

Yeti Panga waterproof backpack

Panga 28L Waterproof Backpack – Yeti.com

If you’re looking for a backpack that can keep your gear bone dry even during a storm or while navigating a lake, look no further, the Yeti Panga 28L Waterproof Backpack does the job with style. The Panga is a high-performance waterproof backpack that keeps a tight seal that creates a barrier around your gear and supplies. Yes, you can even fully submerge the Panga and your gear will stay 100% dry thanks to the outer shell and watertight zipper. You won’t accidentally puncture this bag while fishing or hiking – the shell is designed with incredibly high-density nylon with a TPU lamination that repels anything that attempts a breach. I personally like the lash points that allow you to throw this bag together quickly for a quick fishing trip or as a bug-out bag.

Yeti Crossroads Backpack

Yeti Crossroads 35L Backpack – Yeti.com

While you can get the Yeti Crossroads in 22, 27 or 35L, I chose the 35L backpack due to the fact that it features a TSA-friendly laptop compartment that keeps your computer secured. You can use it as the perfect carry-on because it’s designed to function similarly to a suitcase with substantial space. The clamshell opening makes it easier to load large items and can handle enough clothes, food and supplies for an extended weekend so you don’t have to break out the suitcase. Use the Yeti Crossroads bag for road trips, camping trips, flying or just staying overnight at a friend’s house.

Panga 75L Waterproof Duffel – Yeti.com

Duffels are a great way to transport large items or simply stuff everything you need for an extended weekend into one bag quickly. The Panga waterproof duffel comes in 3 sizes: 50, 75 and 100L. Not only does this duffel do a crazy-good job at protecting your goods, it’s also 100% waterproof and fully submersible. Yes, that means you can knock it off your boat and your gear will still remain dry. It’s also puncture-resistant to protect against branches or other dangers which makes it the perfect bag for any terrain, no matter what the weather station says. The Panga Waterproof Duffel is a favorite among anglers, boaters and those who live life on the edge.

Yeti Chairs

Yeti Hondo Base Camp Chair – Yeti.com

If you’re like me, you work hard and play harder and a good chair goes a long way. The Yeti Hondo Base Camp Chair makes your home-away-from-home substantially more comfortable. Designed for the outdoors, this chair is the perfect addition to any campsite, tailgate party or cabin. It’s designed with 100% breathable fabric that can safely hold up to 500 pounds. The comfort level on the Yeti Honda Chair far surpasses that of average, everyday camp chairs due to its design and impeccable detail that actually eliminates pressure points that may cause discomfort. If you’re looking for a solid camp chair, check this one out.
